Tremaine Williams is an acclaimed music producer, audio engineer and writer – widely considered to be one of the most diverse figures in today’s music business.
Tremaine Williams began his career as an intern at Hidden Beach Recordings located in Santa Monica, CA. During his internship Tremaine met the legendary production team Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Tremaine landed a job as their in-house engineer/programmer earning him credits on projects with artists including Usher, Janet Jackson, 50 Cent, Jill Scott, Boyz II Men and Chaka Khan.
Today, he has moved on to work with many more acts from all over the world such as Mariah Carey, Bruno Mars, Keyshia Cole and many more. He also, earned television show credits producing music for hit television shows Empire, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, MTV's Real World and much more.
Recently, he was named 2017 Full Sail University Hall of Fame honoree. We caught up with Tremaine before the Bruno Mars concert in Raleigh, NC. He talked about his growing up in North Carolina, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Full Sail 2018 honoree, his mysterious sneaker fetish and more.
